Blizzard Auctions Terms and Conditions

General Terms: All sales are final. Blizzard Auctions ("Blizzard") strives to provide accurate and truthful item descriptions and images; however, no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, are provided regarding the items' accuracy or condition. Preview opportunities and additional images may be requested.

Inspection and Previews: Buyers are solely responsible for inspection prior to bidding. Blizzard provides specified preview times or appointments detailed within each individual auction. Failure to inspect items prior to bidding will not constitute grounds for refunds, adjustments, or cancellation of a purchase.

Payment Terms: Winning bidders must provide a valid invoice or invoice number upon collection of items. All fees, including storage and buyer's premiums, must be paid in full prior to bidding in subsequent auctions or item pick-up. Cash payments are permitted only if arranged in advance via phone or email, no later than 72 hours before auction closure. Payments must be finalized within 24 hours of auction closure unless otherwise stated. Failed or declined payments must be rectified within this 24-hour period, and repeated failures may result in suspension or ban from future participation.

An 15% Buyer’s Premium applies to all purchases. Applicable sales taxes will be assessed for auctions conducted outside Anchorage.

Bid Acceptance and Rejection: Blizzard reserves the unconditional right to reject any and all bids. Bids containing inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or potentially deceptive information are subject to cancellation without notice. Blizzard actively monitors bidding activity to ensure compliance with these terms.

Consignors are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own consigned items. Violation will result in immediate bid cancellation and permanent exclusion from future auctions.

Removal and Forfeiture of Goods: Buyers are solely responsible for all logistics, transportation, loading, and associated costs related to item removal. Removal is at the buyer’s expense, liability, and risk. Blizzard may remove and store items not collected within the specified timeframe at the buyer’s expense and risk. Items not collected within the designated time frame will be forfeited and ownership transferred to Blizzard without further notice.

Liability and Indemnification: All items are sold "as is, where is" without any expressed or implied warranty, guarantee, or representation regarding their quality, functionality, condition, or fitness for a specific purpose. Blizzard provides auction and liquidation services solely as an independent contractor for the consignor/seller and is not liable for statements made by any other parties. The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Blizzard and its consignors from any liability resulting from buyer or buyer’s agent actions.

Title and Documentation: Title and related paperwork for vehicles, machinery, boats, aircraft, and recreational vehicles will be provided upon auction closure unless otherwise noted. Buyers must safeguard provided documentation. Replacement documentation, if available, is subject to an administrative fee. Compliance with emission, title, and regulatory standards for all purchases is the buyer’s responsibility.

Default and Remedies: If the buyer defaults in payment or fails to collect items, Blizzard reserves the right to retain all payments made as liquidated damages and may resell or dispose of uncollected items without notice. Any deficiency, expenses, or charges arising from resale or disposal will be charged to the defaulting buyer.

Privacy Policy: Blizzard is committed to protecting user privacy. Personal data collected during registration and transaction processes is exclusively used for auction-related communications and transaction processing. Credit card charges are made solely for winning bids and agreed-upon additional services, such as delivery or shipping.

Cookies may be employed to enhance user experience but will not collect personally identifiable information without user consent. Aggregate user behavior data, collected through analytic tools, may be used internally for website enhancement and provided to third parties only in anonymized form.

Blizzard will not share personal data with third parties without explicit consent.

Changes to Policies: Blizzard reserves the right to amend these terms and privacy policy at any time. All changes become effective immediately upon posting.
